"Jen and Jackrabbit Studios (aka Jackie, to those near and dear) have held me through diverse seasons of creative evolution. For an artist residency we organized at Jackie, Jen worked with us to shape a generous and adaptable container for our communal flourishing in a way that allowed our visions to grow into expansive expressions to meet our evolving needs. Jen stewards the land at Jackie and meets her clients with such sacred intention—honoring creative becoming as one of moving open-heartedly towards the unknown together—and it permeates through everything."

"At the risk of sounding dramatic, I have to say that our stay at Jennifer's beautiful space was life-changing. My wife and I booked Jackrabbit Studios for four weeks with our dog as part honeymoon, part creative retreat, part 'why the heck not live in the desert for a month.' We were in search of the perfect place to unplug, reset, and wanted a place that felt neutral and timeless. This space is all of that and more. It's got much more magic and serenity than your average Airbnb. The five-acre property is fully fenced in, with tons of space to spread out. The house is super clean, with a fully-equipped kitchen, incredibly comfy beds; and if you’re in need of a blanket of stars at night, this is definitely the place. The only thing that made checking out bearable was knowing that we’d be back again and again. Jennifer is the best. A warm and wonderful host, with quick communication and provided a fantastic list of local recommendations. Above and beyond, all of it."

“Jen has a presence that gently opens you up and guides you to new parts of yourself. Jackrabbit feels like an extension of her -- a physical space infused with her energy and gifts. The air feels lighter, sleep is deeper, thoughts become clearer, and during my stay, my creativity and intuition expanded in ways I didn’t expect. Whether you’re working with Jen or staying at Jackrabbit, you’ll find safety, clarity, and a deeper knowing of yourself -- the greatest gift you can give yourself.”

"There is a deeply healing presence in this house. The air is pumping with chamomile. I can't stop sleeping. I feel drugged. There's a humming in my heart. I look at the warm tones of beige, chestnut, ochre. My eyelids feel heavy. My body sinks deeper into the cushions of this marled tweed sofa. She hugs me in her Chanel suiting of wavy stitches and I let go, swept away into another slumber. Lost in a sea of sand."

"I have been called to Jackie since Jen first described it to me when we were in Mallorca. I felt a siren's call to the desert energy of slow pace, big views, and minimalist values. I was seeking somewhere to focus solely on my work without the daily distractions of a modern life. Being away from strip malls and too many choices for restaurants and too many options for social distraction is exactly what I was seeking so my writing could take front and center. And it worked! The writing I worked on at Jackie and submitted was selected for the Breadloaf Writers Conference Creative Nonfiction Prize!"

"It’s truly a special thing when a home as soothing and inspiring as Jackrabbit is equalled, on both counts, by that home’s owner, our inimitable host (that’s you)"

"I came to Jackrabbit Studios for a two-day reset and left four days later.  From the moment I arrived — greeted by a majestic white owl taking flight from the carport — I had a feeling I'd want to stay longer.  The house is beautiful without feeling precious: thoughtfully designed, filled with warmth and light, and immediately grounding. Within a day, I felt myself settle.  By the third, I was writing and thinking more expansively than I had in months.  It's rare to find a place that is both sanctuary and catalyst.  Thank you, Jennifer Azlant, for creating a place that lingers long after you've left — and for your generosity and guidance, both personally and professionally."

"Now more than ever, we need spaces that invite deep, quiet listening—places where creativity can freely blossom and stillness gently reveals what's truly alive. Jackrabbit is that perfect sanctuary, a creative haven thoughtfully designed to hold and nurture exactly what you need to flourish."

“I hired Jennifer to support my team at Headspace many moons ago, and it wasn’t long until she superseded me in wisdom. In the years that have followed, she has been a guiding light for me. I am a Type-A pragmatist, and it can be hard to allow any softness in my life. Jen has brought the softness as a fertilizer to my ambitions, and every time I hop on a call with her, I feel refreshed and revitalized.”

“I just wanted to send a note to let you know how much of an immediate impact that conversation had on me, and then just an appreciation, separate from myself, as if a third party looking down on that interaction and gift and service you provide… it’s so incredible to see the way you navigate and lead a conversation. It’s one of those moments of seeing a human in their absolute element and doing something in a way that’s powerful and inspiring… just like watching an artist at work”

"During my time at Jackrabbit, Jen offered deep, loving presence, quiet encouragement, and permission to soften. She helped me gently untangle my creativity from output, guiding me back to curiosity, play, and trust. Jen offers a reclamation and a return to truth - the kind of home art and creativity has always longed for. And it’s changing the way we remember ourselves as artists. Because of her, I left not only with new work and ideas, but with a renewed way of being. Jen, helps me remember what it means to create from a place of wholeness; her vision is powerful medicine, and her presence is the reason Jackie feels like coming home."

“My name is SKF and I was until quite recently, a federal worker working to protect climate and humans. When the federal administration changed in 2025, that all changed. In the first week, executive orders and actions came fast and myself and other federal workers were thrown into uncertainty and fear. Jennifer’s offer of Jackrabbit could not have come at a more necessary time for my health and soul. Me, my partner, our pup and friends and pups from different creative realms came to recharge. The home and the setting is a place of incredible peace, and invites spirituality and recharge in the truest sense. We ideated and invigorated and I came away with a sense of purpose, feeling less alone and understanding some paths forward that might help me, our creative communities and our country. Three months later, the ideas seeded at Jackrabbit are becoming real and I am off to a conference to share! This would not have been possible without Jennifer, the guardian star, who was placed on this earth to foster connection, ideas and the purest of schemes.”

“I have never experienced the kind of communication and care that Jennifer offers—from before my stay at Jackrabbit to after I had left. And the beacon of attention Jennifer extends to her guests applies to her attention to curating spaces, too. It's an aesthetic mindfulness that has a function. Jackrabbit feels designed to make space, to invite in both silence and creativity. The poetry I wrote here felt possible because of this quiet comfort.”

"My time with Jennifer is always thought-provoking and generously peppered with humor.  She is a walking embodiment of 'living the questions' as Rilke would have us do.  My time at Jackrabbit is a haven, an exhale, an unwinding of all tension.  The pine trees, the views and the open floor space in the house are an invitation to widen my lens on life and work.”

“I just wanted to say how truly wonderful the house and stay was. Extremely grateful. It was really one of the best experiences ever. Truly a productive and amazing time. Thank you truly,”

"Thanks for letting us be part of the months-long inaugurating committee, and for the chance to glimpse the mighty magical future Jackrabbit Studios has in store. Too few are willing to offer a home; fewer still know what it is to make people feel at home. Thanks for being in the latter camp. To all ahead."

“I’ve had the joy of working with Jennifer in many capacities—first as a writer and editorial strategist, where her clarity and care elevated ideas we explored. Later, as a host and curator for a Jackrabbit experience, where I got to witness her magic: creating space for depth, connection, and genuine presence. Jennifer has a rare gift for helping people say what they truly mean—and for designing containers where real transformation can happen."

"The presence and energy Jen holds through every check-in, conversation, and connection could not lend itself truer to her title of “creative caretaker”. The actual epitome of “caretaker”, Jen’s innate ability to make those around her feel seen, heard, and supported–whether it be as a guest at “Jackie”, in a creative brainstorming session, or across the dinner table with friends she’s brought together, Jen’s approach is flawlessly kind, considered, and gently powerful. Someone to lean on, learn from, and belly laugh with, your creative (and life) journey will flourish under the care and guidance of Jen."

"Jennifer Azlant is a seer, thinker, and intuitive who is deeply skilled in the art of bringing people and energies together for healing, alignment, and community. She never fails to find balance in all that she does, whether it be dealing with complicated matters of the heart and soul or business issues in the material world. Jennifer's retreat space in Joshua Tree is an extension of herself: elevated, simple, powerful, aligned. I chose to hold my Spring 2026 yoga and mediumship retreat at her extraordinary place, and for one week 16 of us gathered there in community under the stars. I will forever recommend her services and her beautiful space."

“Jennifer is a creative midwife who enhances everything and everyone she touches. I've learned so much from her intuitive brilliance, intentionality, and deep devotion. My time with her has left a lasting imprint on both my creative process and my way of life."

THE LAND

On the unceded ancestral lands of the Serrano and Western Shoshone peoples, Jackrabbit Studios is situated on five acres of rugged and lush desert expanse. Here, the land and cosmos come into exquisite focus: alongside wild creosote and joshua trees, you’ll find lovingly landscaped native plants and rare mature pine trees, often with a trio of great horned owls tucked within; namesake bunnies with whom to share in the otherworldly pink glow as the sun sets west, before blanketing you under an ancient canopy of starlight.
